counting down! 5 more days! but going to work is just a formality nowadays. after using 3 days to relocate the department stuff to the utility room, and enduring many cuts and bruises, i was totally slack yesterday. as though they don't want to hand any more projects to me since i'm leaving. but i'm not complaining, but i wish i could slack at home instead of waking up before 7am every day.

everyone's blog is about their taiwan trip. driving me crazy. why oh why am i going to hongkong for the third time? madness. but let's see how things go, maybe we can save enough for another short trip? even if we don't, i'm actually contented to just go overseas once a year. to recapture that feeling of being truly together.

celebrated leen's birthday at clarke quay cafe iguana yesterday, followed by drinks at indochine. and apparently, after i left, some mad thing happened. lol

finally, an open and legitimate reason, kinda glad.
and the cat's out. which i haven't decided if its good or bad. hmm

IA report SUBMITTED! 10 more working days! 2 more weeks!! jumping up and down with nervous energy! finally can rest le..

oh no.. must start thinking about what to contribute to the potluck week after next. die la.. and i everyday cant concentrate at work. its as though everyone knows i'm going off soon, myself included, so there's not much to do, and the jobs given to me are only short ones, which means i keep moving between projects. driving my unfocused mind crazy.

cupcakes? konnyaku jelly? or should i just buy ice cream? cream puffs?

can't really ignore the nagging feeling at the back of my head, that i kinda regret and lament not going with them, not when even their planning seems so much fun. especially when i really do want to go taiwan and explore it on my own. haiz, but the other choice is still as good. to spend all the moments together, that's a lot to me too..

feverishly counting down to end of IA. now that report's going to be handed in, i barely care about quality of work. oops. but really, i want my holidays!! shop, badminton, bowling, chalet! i must have fun!

aiyo, what to prepare for the colleagues?

went out with hong and yinjie yesterday (now past midnight) to buy the two may babies birthday presents. wahseh, a bit of a headache. haha tried our best, hope they will be satisfied with our efforts.

then i boliao went back to hong's house with them to hear them discuss their taiwan trip itinerary. haha then went to changi village to eat dinner. returned home very smoky and smelly, to find my bro having friends over to play overnight mahjong. now i'm compulsively obsessed with editing my final IA report.

caught takeshi kaneshiro yesterday on the big screen. nothing much to rave about. but just hope 即使普通而不特别，依然重要，无可取代。

very tired le, shall stop editing and sleep. glad IA's almost over!! 13 days more!!!

much has it has been fun and interesting, it's good to know there's only 15 days more. before i get the results of the ballot, and i step onto a plane and zoom off for a week.

want to file away lots of beautiful memories this holidays.

went out with my colleagues to prive at keppel bay on tuesday night after dinner at queenstown.. had cakes and drinks while just talking and chilling out.. they're quite a nice bunch of people =)

they bought two very cute bears and a jewellery box, and a beautiful card! the inside of the card reads:

i also watched what happens in vegas, which is a very funny show.. except that i felt like i was a superstar dodging paparazzi, what with using the back lift and sneaking furtive glances left and right. tried to put my heart in my smile, but there remained a gaping hole.

met the 2b guys on thursday for dinner, before they went to catch ironman. only 2 short hours, but it's always fun to see them and hear their lamer jokes. they never fail to cheer me up. =) maybe i really should put the chalet idea into action this july..


had delicious dinners the past week, ate salad twice this week: at MFM, and spageddies at paragon. MFM's salad is not nice. blea.. but the spageddies one was good..also ate black pepper chicken chop at uno beef house in clementi..

had lunch today with the girls at New York New York to celebrate tingyan's birthday belatedly. haha her presents were what she wanted, so no surprises there. there was only 6 of us, leen's missing cause of her dance rehearsal, but oh well, we're meeting again soon=)
the first photo is my beef stew with mashed potato, where the beef is tough but the potato is nice. haha the second one is hong's hawaiian chicken teriyaki, which is quite nice.. the third is supposed to be the birthday cake, mudpie with brownie. and we spent a lot of time gossiping and crapping. haha

i love the girls=) seeing them again on 23rd, 1st and 7th june. haha busy busy

i dont want to be doing IA report!

my colleagues went vivo for dinner, and essential brew at holland village for tea! but too bad i had to buy something for my mum, so i couldn't join them. haha they sound very happening hor? organise this kind of stuff after work to chill out and bond. they're nice people, and they definitely love to share good food!! but i'm not extending IA, no time.. haha

so i went central to check out harvey norman and liang court audiohouse to buy 3 sets of mp3. haha and then i went to eat Tampopo, at liang court!

they're supposed to be famous for their black pig delicious meat. can you see in their menu that "our pigs are free from stress"? lol


the original black pig shabu ramen, looks spicy but is not. and refill of ramen is at $4, much more expensive than the $1 ramen refill at marutama ramen (at central). but the cost is more justified.

ordered a platter set, show you both sides of the SAME platter, in case cannot see properly. haha there's prawn, fish with seeweed, sour plum pork roll, pork cutlet, and a pork loin.

the food's good, though a bit pricey. deco's average..the next time i hope to seat at a table where my food is served to me by an automated conveyor!

then had to wait an hour to play pool even though i reserved table at 10pm. madness.. and while waiting, had to endure some pretty horrible singing.yucks


yay! gst credits are coming in!! hahaha happy labour day!
